This quote was especially interesting --"Warner also said the committee has put in place a process to ensure the White House does not destroy documents lawmakers need for their investigation."

Except the WH staff is using Confide for private messaging.

The Republicans are total scumbags. Flynn is a traitor. Trump is absolutely compromised but they turn a blind eye and keep supporting him. They are all about party and do not care about the US.

So is violating the Logan Act by negotiating with the Russians and trying to undercut Obama at the UN while trying to gin up USG contracts for a U.K. data analytics business with deep ties to Russia.

A quick reminder from December on why this isn't being investigated with the speed and intensity it should be: http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/12/politics/gop-russia-hacking-trump/ They're willing to be strongly anti-worker, anti-woman, anti-middle class, anti-environment, anti-Muslim, etc., what horrible stuff do you suppose they get up to in private?

How did they settle on confide? It looks like it has 3 yr old OpenSSL and therefore there are probably 60 or so known vulnerabilities.

PP from this quote here. Not surprised about Confide, but if true, I was more struck by the idea that the Republicans on the committee were acknowledging that the WH needed investigation.
