Prediction: Platner wins nomination, but not by nearly as much as the polls show. Over 50 but not much over. If not, there will be a very poor turnout. |

White people on the left lining up to protect Nazi Tats because white people on the right protected Justice Rapist. Plus like Mr. Nazi Tats' brain wasn't fully formed when he got the tattoo as a grown ass man of damn near 30. I'm so glad Democrats are cultivating a team of good white supremacists to fight Trump's evil white supremacists. So progressive. So forward thinking. You're all the change this country needs.
Whether on the left on the right, there's no solidarity like white solidarity. All sorts of excuses to make sure white people, especially white men, land softly and are never held accountable. |
Omfg ALL THIS! |
| Graham Platner has been most inclusive of people of color of all senate candidates in Maine. Just sayin’ |
How do you know this? I’ve watched many town meetings and never needed all the digits on one hand to count the people of color in the audience. |
Inclusive how? What does this mean? |
Jeff deleted my initial response to you. I guess he didn't like my use of an old variant of "people of color." I should know better than not to use the white liberal-approved terms when mocking white liberals. Anyway, I agreed with you that Nazi Tat's largesse towards the three people of color in Maine is a point in his favor. I mean, he has nothing at all whatsoever to gain from not being seen screaming slurs during his campaign.

To be fair, that’s just Maine. |
I’m from Maine & live here. It’s a hugely white state (~98%) which explains why you see so few people of color at his town halls. I read blackgirlinmaine / Shay Stewart-Bouley, a black writer, community organizer, anti-racism advocate. Reaching out to & working with people of color has been part of his campaign from its start (according to Shay). The national media generally does a poor job of understanding Maine and its people. |
+100. Shame on every supporter. |
What in the world are you even talking about? What makes you think GP is a white supremacist? It’s Janet Mills who has a history of blocking tribal rights in Maine for our four Wabanaki Nations. |
I dunno. Maybe the giant Nazi SS Totenkopf tattoo he had on his chest for twenty years. I'm thinking Nazi tattoos might provide clue as to Platner's thoughts about race. |
I would also think if the guy was a raging white supremacist, there would be some other evidence. Maybe more in the Reddit posts than one comment, maybe ANYTHING else??? Not buying it. |
