You haven't been paying attention. Or, you are gaslighting. Typical. |
The Trump administration asked Twitter to take down Chrissy Teigen’s tweet calling Trump a pu**y a** b!|ch. Perhaps it is you who is not paying attention? |
Do you have reading comprehension issues? Serious question. Per the article, Taibbi formed a podcast with a socialist, Katie Halper, and is a mutual admirer of one of the foremost Black socialist intellectuals in the country, Adolf Reed of UPenn. In what world, other than the bizarro world DC echo chamber where neoconservatives make up the back bone of the Democrat party friendly media on MSNBC (Joe Scarborough and Nicole Wallace to name a few), does this make someone a Republican? |
Who cares if he's a Democrat or Republican? I sure don't. It's just clear he's a liar. There are plenty of liberals who are liars and I don't have any faith in them either. |
Because he made a factual mistake in an article? If you cast aside every journalist who made a mistake in an article you wouldn’t have anyone to read. Taibbi is clearly being marked out because he isn’t towing the party line on this story. He’s an independent voice, not a party stooge, so he must be stopped. Just like MSNBC tried to slander and kneecap Bernie in 2016 and 2020. |
He's done far more than make a factual mistake. He's spun up a entire false narrative based on these "Twitter files." But no one needs to stop him; he just stopped himself because he got in a fight with his paymaster Elon. |
+1 He also lied under oath about it. |
Wow, just wow. How could this guy go on this long, through multiple articles and then congressional testimony, basing his thesis on the assumption that CISA and CIS are the same thing? It's just so sloppy that it's hard to believe it's not intentional. |
This is what happens when people don’t think they need editors. |
+1000 And, he has since corrected it. Which is more than I can say for some of the "preferred" media of the left. |
He fixed one error, but not the many others. In fact, he doubled down on them. And even for the one he fixed, he tries to minimize it. The error was not "one tweet." It was key to his thesis and he repeated it in congressional testimony. |
Would that you held MSM to this same standard. Maybe then we wouldn't need rogue independents to get the real juicy stuff. |
