Can anyone recommend a fiber supplement that has worked for their teen, to maintain regularity? |
will they eat a prune? which is delicious and better than any? otherwise solimo (amazon brand) fiber gummies. |
Unflavored benefiber is a good bet. You can mix into anything. They also make fiber gummies that are pretty good |

Sugar free citucil it doesn't cause gas like metamucil does |
Why can’t they just eat whole grains and fruits and vegetables?

Please understand there is more to the story than I need to share and please just respond with helpful information rather than pointing out the obvious. |

Not OP. People like you are so ridiculous. It’s really none of your damn business, but I’ll try to educate you. IBD/IBS, neurological conditions, or a myriad of other reasons cause constipation. So, no, your suggestion doesn’t work. I’m sure OP never thought of it. |
OP, please ignore these people, they are just jerks. Plenty of parents have dealt with the frustrations of constipation in a child. I would caution you to not let this go on too long without intervention of a pediatrician or gastro as the colon gets stretched out from constipation. |
Fiber One gummies work well for maintenance. |
Um no. No one wants their kid taking daily miralax. That isn’t how it should be used |
OP I think it would be helpful if you give some more info as to what is going on and what your teen's diet is like; what foods they can tolerate |
