Advent, like a lot of other liturgical church calendar stuff, is one of those things that has become trendy over the past couple decades and is easily monetized by the whole Christian publishing industrial complex in which Jen has been a major player. |

I think two of her sons are working with Brandon on whatever he does. They seem to be on his IG influencer page trying to sell “Texas” experiences. I think the other son and two daughters live with Jen. With the exception of Sydney, no one else appears motivated to do anything. I predict they will all try the influencer train at some point. |

Ideally, Me Camp SHOULD be a small sad affair - am I right? I think going away with ME and having some great books and food and wine and beautiful views with an occasional brief visit...that is to me what ME CAMP should be about. Not a parade of people. WAs there something particularly sad this year? I really loved her at one point. But I can tie the demise to the beginning of Able. I have nothing against Able. Except the relentless ads. |

| She cusses (and thinks she cute/cool when she does), is in your face about she has a BOYFRIEND and they have hot sex, goes overboard about expensive designer purses, shoes, clothes, charcuterie boards, drinks to excess. And then comes out with a 2010 Jen Christian post about Advent complete with Bible verse. #1, how do any of her Christian followers take her seriously, and #2, how do none of them see the hypocrisy? |

To the degree she has any "Christian" fans left, they're probably hipster, progressive, social justice Christian types. I was in a church full of women like this who were all Jen fans back in the day. I don't know if they still are, but the whole cool Christianity thing still seems to have a broad appeal for many women of a certain demographic. |
