To the degree she has any "Christian" fans left, they're probably hipster, progressive, social justice Christian types. I was in a church full of women like this who were all Jen fans back in the day. I don't know if they still are, but the whole cool Christianity thing still seems to have a broad appeal for many women of a certain demographic.

I kind of think of myself as hipster, progressive and a big social justice Christian and I still left this train.
I used to like the Jen Hatmaker that was really funny.
I also used to like the Jen Hatmaker who loved Jesus.
The version of the one we are getting lately just feels like an infomercial.
I'm glad she still loves Jesus, but that message - and reaching those people- has been drowned out by all of the noise.

This is the real Jen. She’s always been a materialistic, shallow, predatory climber type. She craves attention and fame and worships celebrity. The old Jen was just a mask she worse to get what she always wanted. Money, fame, attention, etcetera.

Thoughts on Tyler’s family….Does anyone know if Jen has any relationship with his family. Maybe they just don’t want to be on social media, but it seems odd Jen never mentions them or shows any contact with them. Thoughts?

Jen had Tyler's Mom on her podcast once. It was a couple years ago now.

I'm a white native Texan and I've never made tamales nor have I ever wanted to. I'm not even sure I'd want to if I had the opportunity. It's much too labor intensive for my interest, and I don't love them enough to invest that much time. I say this with zero guilt. But if the people who make them need a buyer, I will step right up!

Her latest “I’m a single mom and Christmas is hard” is so cringey to me. At least she does acknowledge Brandon’s contributions when they were married. Is she single? Yes. Is she a mom? Yes. Does Christmas look different now that she’s not married? Also, yes. But given her resources, the age of her children, her community, her flexible job, a mom who comes over to wrap her children’s’ presents (?!?!?!)… I think there are lots of single moms with small children and limited income and no support system that may find it hard to sympathize with her. From all appearances – she and her ex bought a car for their daughter when she turned 16 – she’s also got a fairly healthy coparenting relationship with him. It’s just gross to me that she makes herself into such a victim when there are women with abusive and toxic exes, staggering debt from custody battles with those exes, hourly wage jobs with no time off because they’ve used it all at court or staying home with sick kids, and she’s over here crying about planning her family’s ski trip.

Also, I agree about her “single mom post”. Sis does not have to work a traditional 40 hour a week job, has plenty of disposable Income, mostly ADULT children, and a huge support system (including a significant other that helps her “host Thanksgiving”)…. I guess she is single and a mom, but how long do you get to cling to the title of "single mom" once all of your children are adults? IMO "single mom of five kids" paints a picture in my mind that is far different from her reality. Like my friend's husband who was arrested for stealing $$$$ from his boss and now she and her 5 kids under 14 have been kicked out of their house because they were renting from his boss.
