I feel like with social media, and people being much busier than back in my day, it is harder to meet people to date and ultimately marry. Where are the younger set finding people to date? Fwiw, I went to a large public university and was a commuter. I didn’t meet anyone that I got to know well enough to date. I met my husband at 37 through a mutual friend. Prior to that, I met people through mutual friends as we were all out at the bars.
My friend’s mom set me up with her friend’s son. We ended up hitting it off and now we’re married.

Hobbies and volunteering, actually. Some of my friends met people in sports leagues, board gaming groups, axe throwing leagues, that kind of thing.

Friends of friends, usually. Going to parties, hanging out together.
