Age you feel is a Tween?

Would 10 or 11 or more 12? Middle school 6th grade? When is a teen - 13 or older?

DD is newly 11 I swear she acts like a teen where DS is 13 and I feel like younger than a tween!!

Teen is 13 and up. ThirTEEN. Tween is 9-12.

Tween is 9-12. Officially a teen would be 13-19 but I feel like 23-17 is more appropriate. After that you’re a young adult.

Boys mature later. My 14 year old son often seems much younger than my 12 year old daughter.

I think for girls it can be 10-12 and boys more 11-12.

I wouldn’t count 9 as tween, those are 3rd and 4th graders. I think once kids hit 5th grade, those kids are about to turn 11 or already 11, you’ve entered tween territory.

Well, I don't really understand this tween thing, I think a kid is a kiid. Tween probably contributes to kids growing up a little faster than they should imo. I think teens are kids too, but atc13 you're technically a teen
Although I think young teens are closer to being kids.

Although I think young teens are closer to being kids.

MS aged kids, and that’s really the tween era, are not like little kids at all and I would say they are more similar to teens than they are to an early ES aged kid.
