Holy Mary Mother of God. As a parent, as a citizen, as a human...words just fail me, I guess. See Maureen Dowd's column in Wednesday's NY Times for the latest example of wretched boys behaving badly:

I started here because the column isn't primarily focused on the Love case, but instead, yet another new and different example of awful behavior. I don't think it's just Landon, either, though their name certainly does pop up enough! What _is_ it about how we are raising our teenage boys?!? This has got to stop! |

| Does anyone know what if any disciplinary action the school took? Can or should a school discipline boys for conduct that presumably did not occur at the school? |

I don't think they discipline anyone per se. But it seems to me the school should definitely address and condemn the behavior. |

| How could one school with so much to offer allow so much dumb sh*t to happen? This incident goes directly to character of the students involved. I can't imagine what it's like to be parent there. |

This incident goes to the character of the parents that raised their boys that way. I think we are starting to get a picture of the "values" some of these schools instill.
