This weather got me thinking about winter activities! I see that Whitetail has a 41" and under ticket for snow tubing. Is 10 months too young? Has anyone been and can let me know how the runs are and if they'd be ok for an infant? Just curious, what age can kids try skiing/snowboarding? |
10 months sounds insane.
I think 3 is the youngest I've seen skiing. |
10 months is way too young for tubing.
I've seen 3-4 year olds skiing, but not younger. |
Wow, I feel like this post is destined for the dcum archives. No, it is not appropriate to take your 10 month old snow tubing!! |
Or to Ruth Chris at 10 pm on NYE. |
If your child is in diapers / pull ups they are too young for these activities.
|
No no no. If someone crashes with an INFANT who do you think gets hurt? Not the adult, the baby. No no.
|
They'll never let you do this. I cheated and took my soon 2 months shy of his 4th birthday at a place where the age limit was 4 (they've since changed it to 42 inches). He is and was big for his age but still struggled a bit with the tube and with manuevering on the escalator thing that takes you up the hill. |
HAHAHAHAHA no. No, you cannot take an infant tubing. JFC. |
Oh and by the way, on that day the slope closed early when a grown man was injured and had to be airlifted to the hospital. So no, your INFANT can't go. |
I literally LOLed at the title. |
Life is not about "who gets there first" OP. Good lord. |
But we don't have a sitter. ![]() |
OP here. Whoops, FTM parent here and I guess I envisioned it more as a we go down a hill together where I hold the baby in my lap. |
This is 100000x better (worse) than my clueless cousin and her husband who put their 3 month old in a door frame jumper and wondered why "he wasn't getting it and bouncing" |
