Cracker Barrel—Help me spend a gift card

Anonymous
Received $50 and have no desire to dine there. Other than maybe syrup, which is only $8 on their online store, anything else worth buying?

Re-gift it?

Regift it to a teacher or daycare teacher, or someone who works for you? Or bring it to a White Elephant.

We get it, you're too good for it. Give it to someone else who will enjoy it.

Exactly. I can't imagine not being able to stomach some pancakes for breakfast. Easily $50 for a family. Bonus, get the syrup on your pancakes.

I’ll take it!

Send it to me. I will get the fried okra on my next road trip.

I’m sorry I asked. I’m not too good for it, it’s just that I have no desire to eat there but was looking for food things for my kids from the online store. Never mind, point taken.

I had to scratch off the cover to find the code to check the balance, because it was sent to me without an amount. Would it be in poor taste to regift now?

Do they have candy online like they do in the stores? They used to sell Valomilks! I would load up for stocking stuffers.

I would use it towards one of their rocking chairs - they are really good.

Whoever gave you a cracker barrel card is ballsy. Cracker barrel is definitely low class for the DCUM crowd. I also think it is far away for most of us. I call this a gifting fail.

If you live close to one of their restaurants, they have plenty of small toys, candy, holiday items, etc. where you could easily spend $50. There's more there than is available online, IME.

You made me go look at the site. The gift section screams “best place to buy white elephant gift”. Might be too late for this year.

Things I would buy to use the money: Burt’s bee pack, healthy hands, healthy feet. Mayple syrup.

I bought my lodge cast iron there
