Playing devil's advocate here, most corporations don't give you an unlimited amount of vacation time, and I think it would be safe to assume that she wasn't just taking vacations without getting approval, which would theoretically mean that the company knew how much time she was taking off before she even took it. I doubt you can fire someone for taking off too much time if you gave them the time off to begin with. The only way I could see her getting fired due to taking too much time off is if she were seriously abusing sick time, and since it was openly discussed that most of her time off was either maternity leave or vacation, I just feel like that can't be the case. |

I agree, but there were several time she appeared to be late to the show. Many mornings when they would come on the air prior to the start of the show (circa 545am to 555am) and just do an introductory greeting, every one would say hello except for her, which made it seem like she was running late and not ready to go. There was specifically one morning last fall, the Tuesday after her broad squad girl trip, where they went live at 6am and had no idea where she was (at least they claimed). She finally called in at like 615 saying she overslept and was on her way in. So, while you can't punish someone for taking days off that they are entitled to, they could write her up for being late to work often. |

| Theory: I feel like Danni's "fans" are such cheerleaders for her because she's so responsive. She's a local semi-celebrity who she puts all of her business out there (which makes them feel like they know her and feel connected to her life). And, she freakin' responds to every livelong thing that people say about her! You don't see other famous people responding quite as much. It's like Danni feeds off of people giving her attention, she gives attention back, and it just goes back and forth. I feel like a lot of those "fans" just want to glom onto her because there's a good chance she's going to respond to them! |

Agree, I think that's a much more valid guess as to why she may have been let go if it concerned time off. Most people were referencing her treehouse retreat and her St. Lucia trips and things, and I just didn't think it seemed very likely that she would have gotten fired for time off that she presumably got approval for. |

| Danni just posted on her Facebook that she's coming back to TKS on Monday. I guess 99.5 was tired of the harrassing e-mails. What a deal she must've gotten! |

For any long time listeners out there, if you remember tomorrow (April 2) is the day Danni announced she was pregnant for the second time. This was before Rose joined, but after Mel left, and probably the time I most enjoyed the show with this particular cast. Kane teased the announcement saying it was one of three things:
1) John proposed to Laura 2) Kane got a vasectomy 3) Danni was pregnant Kane promised not to do the revel on April 1 to avoid April Fool's Day jokes so they waited until the second. They called Laura, Natasha, and Slim, and then made the announcement about Danni and her pregnancy. Danni then told the story of how Laura, John, and her were in Tampa for an event, and Danni took the test in a CVS bathroom with Laura while John paid for the test. Every one seemed so happy. Fast forward to now 2 years later...the show quality has decreased and become stale in many ways...Kane and Natasha are nearly divorced...so are Slim and Danni...John and Laura stopped talking to Danni essentially almost a year ago...Danni went nuts and got fired/quit/pushed out from the show and hates them all. Amazing how things can change relatively quickly. |

Lame but I cried during that announcement. They made it by playing the heartbeat via ultrasound. That time was when they all seemed to really love each other and the show was interesting to listen to. |

| ^I don't remember this particular show...was out of the area for college and kept up with them all via twitter and the occasional podcast. But I think Kane announced his babies the same way. Seems like forever ago but that also was SO SWEET. |
