Big Beautiful Bill

Her excuse is that she'll end her current term at the ripe young age of 71, and she wants at least one more.

Republicans will be like the dog that caught the car.

Americans think they're getting a tax cut but most won't since the most expensive part just continues current tax rates.

Blue state families will get more salt and higher income families will get more child tax credit and more social security deduction. Low income families won't get those. Is that what MAGA voted for?

Americans horrified by ICE abuses and alligator alleys will learn that ICE is getting more money than most country's military in this bill.

Goldendome will be a boondoggle of grift and waste.

50% of Medicaid users are Trump voters. These new paperwork requirements will be onerous for them even if they are working.

A hospital in Nebraska just announced it will close because of inflation and uncertainty about federal funding. It's the first of many to fail because a $50 bn bailout fund is couch change compared to a $1 trillion cut to Medicaid. That effects everyone in that community regardless of their health care.

Veterans, homeless, and former foster kids who currently have bipartisan "able bodied" exemptions will immediately be kicked off of SNAP.

Klondike kickback rewards states with high payment errors. Alaska has a payment error rate over 60% and the Klondike kickback lets any state with an error rate over 13% delay state matching requirements in SNAP. States with low payment errors will be penalized and make it more likely for people in those states to lose SNAP.

ADP jobs report showed private sector job losses and official jobs report comes out today. Probably going to be bad based on Trump's tweets. Not much in this bill is stimulative.

Adds trillions to the debt. Interest rates expected to go up.

Congrats or something MAGA.

Ironically my family benefits significantly from the tax, SALT and other "goodies" and yet, I would gladly trade all of it for a return to november so the country could re-vote knowing what it knows now.

Loooooong tradition of this. They’re the “keep your goddamn government hands off my Medicare” party.

I don’t personally think a revote would change the outcome. MAGA is a cult.

Well, there are people who stayed home in November who would not stay home if they got a second chance.

Congressional Republicans are cheering on the fact that Trump will ignore parts of a bill they will have just passed (in order to "fix" the parts they don't like) on partisan lines without a single Democratic vote. Article I is dead.

Watching Jeffries on the House floor, he's such a gifted orator...it's just too bad that all he can do is delay the inevitable.

This bill is disgusting. Increases taxes on the poor to cut them on the rich and explodes the deficit.

Don’t ever tell me anyone who votes for this is worried about the deficit when they are adding more to the country’s debt than we incurred in the first 200 years of our country— and for what?

So a bunch of billionaires can spend more more on yachts and trips to space while nursing homes shut down and kick the elderly poor out.

The only good news is more Republicans will suffer under this than democrats.

We hope, but that’s not a guarantee.

Yes it is, look at the state's with the most people using these services and how they vote.

WSJ even said MAGA was going to suffer and it was dumb for MAGA Congress to screw their constituents. Now we know from the handful of “moderate” reps, again, that the feminist our president. He told them they’d lose votes cutting health care.

President Miller and VP Vought are running Congress.

WTAF autocorrect - felon, not feminist. I guess I use both a lot.

+1 Red districts and poor people get screwed over and over and over again in this bill. Trump did better with Medicaid voters than Kamala. But I get my salt back baby!
