Only Republicans would think piling paperwork requirements on people so they lose their benefits is a good thing.

This bill is disgusting. Increases taxes on the poor to cut them on the rich and explodes the deficit.

Don’t ever tell me anyone who votes for this is worried about the deficit when they are adding more to the country’s debt than we incurred in the first 200 years of our country— and for what?

So a bunch of billionaires can spend more more on yachts and trips to space while nursing homes shut down and kick the elderly poor out.

There are NO illegal immigrants receiving any social security, medicare or medicaid. If you believe that, then you don't know how the system works or what controls are in place.

Germany has had socialized medicine since Otto von Bismarck, in the 1880s. It hasn't bankrupted them. And before you say "but but that's COMMUNISM" Bismarck was a staunch conservative and hated socialists and communists (passing the Anti-Socialist law in 1878) but even he was capable of recognizing good tools for statecraft and governance. Socialized medicine was passed in 1883, followed by accident insurance in 1884, followed by old-age/disability pensions in 1889.
