Kate's New Picture

Actually Harry stated in spare that William pushed him so hard he fell down and hurt himself. I can see similar happening with Kate who is a lot smaller than Harry

It’s got to be AI, in which case there is no original photo. That makes a lot more sense than the palace staff madly photoshopping, and it explains why they won’t release the original or the metadata to AP.

Unlike the first 4-5 pages of posters, you were right.

Who/what is the PA?

Sky News' data and forensics unit examined the photo:

Analysis of the photo's metadata by Sky News's data & forensics unit found the image had been saved in photo editing software Adobe Photoshop twice on an Apple Mac - but it is unclear if it was saved on the same device.

The first save was made at 9.54pm on Friday night, with the second at 9.39am on Saturday morning.

The image was taken at Adelaide Cottage - the family's home in Windsor - on a Canon 5D mark IV, which retails at £2,929.99 and used a Canon 50mm lens, which is priced at £1,629.99.

Which prince? William? No one has ever said he's not smart.

Anyway, the problem isn't William or Kate. The problem is the Internet. Including us.

Bingo!

True. Imagine this whole thing without millions of people speculating on the internet. No one would notice, or they would just take the palace’s word that it’s true.

twitter lady shows how this pic was probably taken in November (on a day that Kate and kids were in public at a food bank or similar) and the photoshopping changed details of clothing to make the pic look new.

After seeing that TikTok explaining that the pic was probably from November 2023 (the same day Kate and the kids attended an event at a baby bank) and that the photo shopping included changing some colors on everyone's outfits to obscure the fact that it was from the same day, I think that the real problem here is not that the photo was retouched but that it was manipulated to make it appear to be a new photo, and was posted with a "2024" caption, and this was viewed as intentionally misleading, which is why the news agencies pulled it.

It also explains why the most glaring Photoshop errors are where they are. The area around Charlotte's waist looks weird because they altered her skirt to make it plaid. The area around Kate's neck looks weird because they altered her sweater to make it black.

So if the palace released an unedited photo, it would make it very obvious that the clothing was changed to throw people off the fact that it was a photo from 4 months ago, when they were trying to pass it off as a current photo to quell rumors about Kate's whereabouts and well being.

I don't even care that they used an old photo, btw, nor do I think anyone is an owed a current "proof of life" photo. But I do find it weird and concerning that the palace apparently felt compelled to provide a current photo and was unable to do so, so instead posted an old photo and doctored it to try and make it look more recent. Why??

This is the only “why” I’m interested in. What are they hiding?

Agree. If she’s dead, there’s no way to hide it forever. The BRF would get an outpouring of sympathy and Wills, the poor widower, could go on to date and find a second wife.

What if he killed her? Possible?

Come ON!!!

Kate probably has her own money stashed. She's smart.

Hmmm, I don't know how she would. Where would it come from? I don't think she's ever received a personal allowance and would be very surprised if it turned out she has personal accounts anywhere. And her parents' business recently went belly up and they seem cash strapped. Only Pippa seems financially secure without the royal family -- Kate and her parents are totally financially dependent.
