Misratah Ewunetie, 20, went missing almost a week ago - reported at 3am last Friday after a work shift on campus. Her body was found on campus near tennis courts today.
No clear picture as to why, but so sad for her and her family. |

Misrach
May she rest in peace. |
| This is awful. Her poor family. From what I read, she was absolutely adored. |
| So sad |
|
AWFUL just awful.
Condolences to her family. Every parent understands how horrible this is. |
|
May have been from the Cleveland, Ohio area.
While at Princeton, she had internships with McKinsey & Co. and with Bank of America. |
|
Police have ruled out criminal activity related to her death, so it was probably something related to mental health.
Incredibly sad. |
| There was a mental health death last week at another Ivy as well. |
Or a medical situation that was misdiagnosed and not well-treated - as happens frequently on college campuses, except that lethal ones are rare. I had my first thyroid storm (potentially life-threatening) as a graduate student, and it was difficult to get care. |
They didn’t rule it out. They’ve just said not yet. She was outside for 6 days, hard to tell. If they don’t have a suspect yet they’re not going to announce that. |
How did nobody see her body near the tennis courts for SIX days? They had helicopters and drones and search parties. So awful. Prayers to her family. This is where you think your kids are safe, at school. |
I think they jumped the gun. Her roommate said in an article I read that she saw her at 3am then another roommate said she was gone an hour or so later. She may have been going to meet a guy or something and was killed. It doesn’t make sense. |
Suicide? |
| I don’t understand how criminal activity has been ruled out for someone missing for six days |
Exactly. |
