Anyone have any good cabbage recipes other than stuffed cabbage? Was just given a ton and plan to make stuffed cabbage with some and trying to think of something new and different to do with the rest. TIA!

Stick some with baby carrots and onion and kielbasa in a pot with a little water and let it steam

Make a salad with fish taco ingredients (like taco salad but with fish and shredded cabbage as the base instead of lettuce)

And I'm not even "cabbage lady"

saute with onions until really caramelized and mix with egg noodles and some salt. It's a Hungarian dish my bubbie used to make, so for me it's comfort food.

I make egg roll in a bowl and serve over rice. Basically just start with sausage or ground pork or ground beef. Brown it. Chop cabbage into strips. Stir it in to pot along with other veggies. Carrots, peppers, onions, mushrooms, snow peas etc. whatever you have and like

Cabbage rolls - but that's difficult as heck to do.

We use raw cabbage on flour tortillas for soft tacos. Gives it the crunch it needs.

I make a cabbage soup, add potatoes, green apple, onion, cans of whole tomatoes

Steamed cabbage makes a great side dish. Chop some cabbage into one inch chunks, put into a bowl, toss with some minced garlic to taste, and season with salt and pepper. Put it into a steamer (bamboo or metal, whatever you have) and steam just until it turns bright green. It should still have a bit of texture to it. That’s the trick with this - if you don’t steam it long enough it’s boring, and if you steam it too long it gets that sulfurous smell that puts people off cabbage. But if you pull it off the heat at just the right time and add a lump of butter to it, it’s sublime!
