I'm surprised there isn't a thread on this already. The tweet says it all. These are very, very scary times. Even if FPOTUS is doing this as a grift, the people in the audience are dead serious.
"Team Normal" Republicans, PLEASE, this is a chance to speak out. There is only so much Democrats can do. I'm pleading with you. Someone, many people, will get killed if this doesn't stop.

Trump senses the noose tightening as DOJ and other investigations continue. He will become more desperate and erratic day by day. He and his cult of true believers — mostly QAnon fritters — are a clear and present threat to democracy. The only possible silver lining is that there were only about 2000 attendees last night. Hardly a Nuremberg rally.

The folks we should really be concerned about are not these cray-crays, but the GOP operatives and pols who are gearing up to reject or manipulate election results if things don't go their way. These folks have also drunk the koolaid, despite not looking as crazy on the outside as Trump rally-goers.

This. Trump is godawful and his followers arguably worse, but the worst is the rank and file GOP still planning to vote for all of these terrible people and the deep pockets and the pols doing the planning and the paying. They want a christofascist country and they’re going to pull out all the stops.
