I find this kind of mindless idolatry toward a megalomaniac incredibly disturbing. So we’ll have to disagree on that. |
I am also Jewish, and I find this incredibly disturbing. I have seen the salute at rallies in Orlando along with people holding flags with swastikas, holding up signs that Jews started Covid, that they are responsible for 9/11, etc. It starts out as a fringe group of lunatics being denounced by politicians. Then suddenly no one is denouncing it (looking at you, DeSantis). Then it shows up at political rallies, and more people join in the fringe. If this doesn't scare you, then I have a hard time believing you're a Jew. |
| Same. |
Your Jews for Book Burners group in Facebook isn’t a good look. It’s not hard to see where this Christian theocratic nativism is going. Just check out Mastriano. |
| So the cult of Trump and the cult of Qanon have finally merged. Now we get to see which friends are really crazy. |
| Trump got a bunch of QAnon rednecks from NC to shout the n-word at a rally yesterday. So that was fun. |
Uh, you realize this is a right wing astroturf thing, right? |
I've got one who's wavering (she has family who work for the govt and the classified documents at MAL bother her). And then another who has totally bought in. It makes me so sad - she was so fun, and easy going, and her kids are still friends with mine. But she is in a cult. And she's become very secretive. I know she has mutual friends with Ginni Thomas. I swear some of those NOVA "women who drink wine" groups have turned into Qanon cells. |
I agree with this poster, and I'm not a Jew, but I come from a European country occupied by Nazi Germany. There are plaques on buildings where Jews were rounded up and deported, because as a society we decided to remember that time so it never happens again. Hate is insidious and progressive. If you don't call it out, it infiltrates into the population and become acceptable and mainstream. The other Jewish PP has clearly never studied history and has lived a life of deceptively safe complacency. Beware of the growth of christo-fascism. |
You couldn't possibly that stupid + ignorant of history. |
Yes, they can be. And they are the reason atrocities happen |
