Do teachers share notes on parents?

Eg do teachers routinely share notes (good or bad) about parents as kids move to the next grade? Like a 1st grade teacher giving a review of parents to the 2nd grade teachers?

In HS, yes, but only in extreme cases to warn. It’s common. We talk.

Yep. I’m not a teacher but I have friends that are. It’s mostly about the extreme obnoxious ones who become well known in the school for their bad behavior.

Nothing in writing, but if there is an issue a teacher might ask last year's teacher what their experience was.

Of course they do! Teachers talk about EVERYONE.

Teachers talked about other kids in front of me (I'm a parent!).
