| How difficult is it to make a team for a boy in MS or HS? Do they have multiple teams per sport? We keep hearing about how many sports superstars the school has. Is there a place for an average but hard working athlete? |
| Depends on the sport |
+1. Also with new head, many sports that were a focus in the past are no longer the case. Boys lacrosse is still very strong. Yes they have multiple teams in sports. |
Did the new guy f up the athletics situation at Bullis? |
Near as we can tell, not yet. |
|
Bullis football has tanked since the new headmaster arrived. Soccer is also bad.
Bullis hoops and lax will remain very strong. |
| Do they have only 2 basketball teams? V and JV? Do they also do intramural sports? |
| In middle school everyone makes a team. Depending on the sport, there are multiple teams (boys soccer has A, B, C teams). |
Is there a reason for the football program regressing? |
How does a headmaster contribute to a team tanking? |
I thought track and wrestling were strong too. |
|
Lax.
Of course. |
| Track program continues to strong. Continues to have national top athletes (girls) - coach is really great. |
You need to recruit more players for a football team. |
| A couple of the football players left during the COVID year for other schools. Bullis hasn't really been able to rebound since. Some blame the new Headmaster for the school's inability to recruit top talent since. |
