Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University

I don't remember calls for political retribution after Minnesotan politicians were shot and killed. Can anyone link to those?

I told my husband it’s time for us to get a gun. Things are getting crazy. I want to be prepared to defend myself.

Laura Loomer sure does have Trump’s ear lately.

This just feeds the idea that it was someone further to the right, or even the Administration responsible for the shooting. And the longer the authorities go without any leads or arrests, the longer this conspiracy will fester.

That was a dumb statement, and it tells you investigators will have tunnel vision. I know it LOOKS political, but Kirk has said things recently about releasing Epstein files. His wife was Miss Arizona. What if it was a deranged stalker of hers trying to eliminate her husband? It's better not to speculate until they have a suspect in custody.

Here we go, folks. He has his martyr, he’s going to go for it.

Trump: "For years those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we're seeing in our country and it must stop right now. My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges and law enforcement officials."

Two suspects that fit the white Christian nationalist description have already been released after their arrest.

Pointing out the irony that he glorified the 2A, said specifically that casualties are just the price we pay, and then volunteering as tribute isn’t celebrating. It’s stating facts.

+1. People are literally just quoting him.

The American project has been an incredible success. We forget that while we are the "united" states we have very different values and customs depending on the part of the country you live in.

We should resist drawing conclusions whenever a single assassin kills someone else. 1 person cannot define 300 millions people.

In a rich country with deep income inequality and other challenges, we will unfortunately have these kind of regrettable events.

If you pick 99 random Americans on the street 98 of them will not act like that piece of sh**t killer. The vast majority of us are just worried about our jobs, debt, wives/GFs/bfs/APs, baseball, football etc.

I wish the President understood that.

That would be wild (and ironically-probably best case scenario it’s a personal issue versus someone upset about his political beliefs, although that seems unlikely).

They won't get a suspect because they aren't looking in the right places and the FBI has been totally gutted, particularly in Utah.

Trump talking about rhetoric leading to violence? Whoo boy!

That was a big mistake. He should have been transported by ambulance. And there should have been an ambulance at an event with 3,000 people.

In a mass group event, there's so much confusion that even if someone knows an ambulance might be on site, sometimes it's quicker to get the car that's immediately out front and rush to hospital.

I'm not going to judge, I wasn't at the scene. My husband, who is a doctor, also worked as a paramedic for group events and it's always hell if something like this happens. Everyone gets in the way.

I heard the bullet struck him in the jugular and he bled out. I doubt there was anything that could be done to save him, but the people who hustled him to the hospital had to try.

+ 1000000

We must all stop letting the awful GOP and Dem Parties divide us. Your fellow American citizens are not your enemies. Your enemies are the financial backers of our two major parties. Wake the eff up people!!!!

+10000. And the rich people backing both parties are the same. They are all extremely rich. They all don't give a f**k about you.

My god I have been saying that for like forever!!! No one cares! No one is listening. It is not even hidden. Go look at founders of things like The Heritage Foundation and contributors to campaigns and look at common universities and social orders and it all makes sense. It is the same names over and over. They are the 1%’ers. The head honchos. The real mover and shakers. The real capo do capo.
