Why is the media not covering ICE resistance in LA?

Really, because I just saw a press conference with mayor Bass where she announced a curfew starting at 8pm for the next few days. She said anyone on the street will be arrested. This is just for the one-square mile area where the protests have been taking place. Keep up with the news, MAGA.

Dispatching the National Guard isn’t much better: 45 percent disapprove and 38 percent approve.

But this is just not true. Many of those being rounded up entered legally under Temporary Protected Status (which was created under President Bush btw) which was a program designed to let people into the Us fleeing humanitarian crises while allowing Republicans to avoid actually dealing with immigration reform). Under TSP immigrants are allowed to get social security numbers (using real names and DoB) and work legally. They can also apply for permanent residency or student / work visa if they meet the criteria (family to sponsor them, assets, employment, school acceptance). President Trump has revoked many of the TPS statuses (they are country and entry date specific and can be changed by Exec Order) immediately throwing many people (who came here legally and are working legally) into illegal status.

I am fine with you making the case that TPS should not have been created. But it was (under a Republican admin). And since it was, it is undeniable for any human with a heart to see what is happening now and not think how cruel it is.

I don’t know where you live but where I live it’s mainly Haitian immigrants that take care of seniors in memory care and assisted living residents (and at home) and it’s Venezuelans who clean out homes.

Sure, maybe this has led to wage suppression BUT eliminating the supply of these workers so abruptly is going to drive up costs abruptly. How is that helpful to Trump’s promise to bring inflation down?

Have you attended a BLM or a Gaza protest? I have been to both and saw zero percent violent, looting, damage to property.

The change occurred after FIVE months of democrats acting up in the Summer of 2020 in multiple cities around the country.

CHAZ/CHOP, blinding police with lasers and throwing frozen bottles of urine at them, trapping them in police stations and setting them on fire, tipping over statues and the destruction of public and private property for months on end. Looting, arson, serial theft. We don't forget.
