You have a problem with remittances? JFC. It's not just brown-skinned people that send remittances. My DH's Irish immigrant family sent remittances home to Ireland for decades. It saved the family farm and supported quite a few people. Ditto my own Southern European relatives. |
Yes we do. They come into this country , use resources they haven’t paid into (schools, healthcare etc.) and then instead of spending their untaxed-under-the-table-wages into the economy they are using, they send it to another country. Remittances need to be taxed at 75%. |
They pay more into the system than they get out of it. Fact. |
| Trump and ICE are nit allowing lawyers to talk or see their clients who have been arrested and held with no charges. Many are being deported. ICE is not even identifying the people! |
Red states use resources they have not paid for. When will you people thanks us and repay us? |

This. Signed LA born and raised. I see what’s actually happening here vs what is being shown on the news. When it’s DC don’t come crying to us… |
| In your opinion, is this going to be the catalyst to invoke martial law? |
No, but it’s a reason to lock these people up, find out who they are, and check the criminal databases for warrants. Get them in the system. This is definitely FAFO. |
So it wasn't an issue when it was Germans, Italians and Irish, but it is now that it is brown people. Got it. |
Don’t even bother. Talking to these maga folks is like trying to engage every aggressive nut with a sign at the intersection. Just roll up your windows, lock your doors, and get where you need to go. They get their marching orders written for them and will parrot them no matter how untrue or bizarre. |
The plan I saw was to let legal immigrants claim a rebate on their tax forms. |
CNN's Enten: Trump's Approval Rating On Immigration Has Gone Up Like A Rocket Compared To 8 Years Ago CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten reports President Donald Trump's approval rating on immigration is up 40 net points compared to 8 years ago. Enten said the electorate agrees with Trump on deporting those who are here illegally and searching towns for those who are here illegally. "Again, positive territory here above 50 percent for Donald Trump," Enten said. So it's not just on the broad issue of immigration where Trump is doing well. It's on the specifics. When you dive into the issues, Trump is above 50 percent and his actions are above 50 percent, at least with those most directly connected to what's going on right now out in Los Angeles." "The American electorate believe that the Democrats don't have a clue on the issue of immigration," Enten said. "Closer to trust more in immigration, Democrats versus Republicans. Got three different polls for you across the board. They all tell the same story." |

Democrats' plan is to have the police stand back and do nothing as their street soldiers attack ICE and keep them from deporting people.
They are mad that Trump interfered by calling up the National Guard and Marines. |
