So popular he lost massively in 2020. |
Oh, tell us how Trump and the GOP governed from the center. The Democrats do govern from the center, it’s just that the GOP left the center so far behind that they can’t see anyone but their own extremists. “Mandate,” they cry, rolling over the majority opinion. |
TRUMP now ahead of Biden in VIRGINIA. Making Virginia great again! |
I can't wait to vote for gangsta Trump (from N.Va). |
What you're saying isn't logical at all. You guys hate the slogan "make America great again" meaning you don't like how America has ever been before. By definition that isn't a centrist view. Most Americans do like America and find many aspects of America to be really great. So the idea of MAGA is inherently much more centrist since it has a favorable view of the US. |
Trump is a G. |
It was Biden that wanted people fired for being unvaccinated, in private companies. He went through with it for government workers. And many who were fired were blacks who voted for Biden. No worries. He's delayed his ban on menthol cigarettes until after the election to try not to lose more of their votes. |
Don't be ridiculous. Trump is getting tons of money from Republican and corporate elites and if they tell him to do something he does it. That's plainly evident in how many times he's already changed his positions on many things - almost always to advantage some elite stakeholder. |
Baloney. There was no mandate or order from Biden for companies to fire unvaccinated workers. And I think the only people who got the axe in government were a small number of people in the military where refusing vaccinations makes them unfit for deployment - and they have ALWAYS required various vaccinations for deployment, depending on the location and type of deployment, for example yellow fever or anthrax and so on. |
Don't be daft. MAGA means "going back" to some ideal that white people falsely believe existed in the 50s or something. For most marginalized groups and those of us who are not white supremacists or religious zealots who want to foist Christianity on the entire populace via the government, going back to their fantasy "ideal" is not at all appealing. When you say "Most Americans do like America and find many aspects of America to be really great," I agree. American has many great things about it. Those of us who see MAGA for what it is find people who are looking backward instead of looking forward, trying to make America even greater, are telling me something unfavorable about themselves. |
No he isn't. He's a bloated wanna be mobster. |
There is no platform that is beneficial to all. This is why governing is hard. In order to maximize benefit for the most people, you must compromise. You need lots of different people representing the myriad of different needs and views to come together and hammer out the compromises that will benefit the most. We will never have a place where everyone is perfectly happy. And as long as the GOP platform is "compromise is weakness" and the "Dems are the enemy", we won't have good faith work in Congress to try and find these best possible compromise solutions. You need to vote out the congresspeople who won't play ball. All of them. |
Trump is the O.G.! |
This. If Biden wins, it is because there are an awful lot of people who believe that "Make America Great Again" is code for "Let's Go Back to 1960". The Dobbs decision did that to women. Chevron did that to environmental protection laws. Next they are coming for gay rights. And a lot of us do not want to go back to 1960. |
He's the GOAT! |
