I know the Admirals are supposed to be good this year, but thought STA was supposed to have a really good squad this Spring. Final score 13 - 8, doesn’t reflect how lopsided this contest was.

Also for the previous poster who called out GP for scheduling DeMatha, you are really misinformed. DeMatha and GP have been playing against one another for the past 3 decades, it’s an annual contest every spring. I like seeing traditional contests between historic programs.

So was playing St. John’s. Why they stop scheduling that game Mr. Informed?

Bc sjc was actively contacting enrolled students from prep and other iac schools asking them to transfer.

They wish. Lol more like prep tried to hire Coach Speaks and was turned away. Little Hoyas alumni are salty.

SJ has been focused on getting the Landon twins to transfer. Full court press on that family.

They go to Landon? Why?

Such fake news… SJC coaches, in particular Garret Ince, hate Cabbell and I believe the feeling is mutual. SJC doesn’t need or want the twin’s

SJC coaches have been targeting a few freshman families at Prep to transfer.

^ other way around.
Everyone knows there is a freshman Prep legacy at St. John’s, and that is isn’t sitting well with anyone at Prep.

STA missing one starter - nice try!

Prep feels that several in the freshman class that went to SJC should be at Prep. That’s why they salty and refused to play.

SJ’s fans are delusional. They lost like 10 guys who started last year if you include the SSDM and LSM. It was a great run with an incredible 22 class, but it is over.

Hate to tell you but the class of 22 was great across the board. Everyone lost great players. St. John’s wasn’t the only team. St. John’s has plenty of talent left to make another run in the DMV. We will see where they stand this coming week.

Folks, this forum and this thread are for the discussion of lacrosse. They are not for the discussion of disciplinary issues occurring outside of lacrosse, they are not for discussing the religious authenticity of various schools, and they are most definitely not for spreading gossip about high school students. I've been patiently removing posts that address those off-topic issues, but my patience is not unlimited. Please help out by sticking to discussing lacrosse. I wouldn't want to see this forum go the way of the soccer forum.

Thank you! Pretty sure most of us agree on that!

Seeing some of these early results, heres how local rankings should look rn:

1. SJC
2. Bullis
3. Prep
4. Paul VI
5. Landon
6. DeMatha
7. Episcopal
8. SSSAS
9. Heights
10. Albans
11. Lake Braddock
12. St. Andrew's
13. St. James
14. Madison
15. Potomac

Arguing SJC anywhere but #1 rn is rediculous. You can't move a team that went something like 20-0 last year below #1 until they lose (which they will eventually).

I don’t see St. John’s running the table like last year. That was a very special team that had a special season but I don’t think any team on that list can beat them. Maybe BL or St. Anthony’s can.

Bullis has some players but Coach Speaks will out coach them.
