McD LSM is not 20. If he turned 19 prior to 9/1 he would be ineligible to play in the MIAA

Pretty sure you are wrong.

Pretty sure I'm not. My son plays for McDonogh. MIAA not afraid to nix kids (see Calvert Hall). But thanks for playing in this forum.

Very rainy, cold, and windy during the game.

SJC got up early. Two goals against EHS were questionable, but EHS came back in 2nd and 3rd to tie.

This was SJC's third scrimmage but was EHS's first. EHS only started practice on 2/20 EHS played several freshman for fair amount. One scored.

Mass subs by both teams in forth. SJC ended up winning by 1 or 2. No official score was kept.

Ryan Duenkel didn't seem to play. Not sure which SJC players did or didn't play. Starting goalie was in until end of the third.

Surprisingly good start for Episcopal.

Um…not quite.

SJC 5-2 at half.

SJC subbed starting goalie and half. EHS starting goalie subbed at end 3rd.

SJC also subbed a few other starters at half.

Both teams played a lot of guys. Seemed like SJC played just about the entire team.

Both teams played well for the conditions and could barely see the ball in 4th.

Seemed like some bad calls against EHS in first half.

EHS > than Albans.

Lots of complaining here. Multiple teams played last night and did just fine in the brutal weather. Prep for example scored 14 points. Scrimmages are not real games, but after reading all these comments it sounds to me like SJC and EHS may be fairly equal and not all that good. If that’s the case, the WCAC is really going to be down this year with Gonzaga’s problems and SJC lack of depth. Sounds like the IAC will be the league to watch.

Prep should have opened up with St. John’s or Gonzaga since they are so good. Why play a weak opponent on opening day? Are you bragging about beating them? Lol

Severn was beating up on STA 13-3 heading into the 4th q.

I know the Admirals are supposed to be good this year, but thought STA was supposed to have a really good squad this Spring. Final score 13 - 8, doesn’t reflect how lopsided this contest was.

Also for the previous poster who called out GP for scheduling DeMatha, you are really misinformed. DeMatha and GP have been playing against one another for the past 3 decades, it’s an annual contest every spring. I like seeing traditional contests between historic programs.

So was playing St. John’s. Why they stop scheduling that game Mr. Informed?

People need to get this right. STA is missing players. They are wrestling and playing basketball. They will be really good when those guys get back.

Bc sjc was actively contacting enrolled students from prep and other iac schools asking them to transfer.

They wish. Lol more like prep tried to hire Coach Speaks and was turned away. Little Hoyas alumni are salty.

This has to be a joke right?

First off, STA wrestling and hoops are bad.

Maybe they are missing a few kids but don’t think it would have made a huge difference. They got their ass kicked from the 2nd half on. STA scores five straight goals in the 4th against Severn reserves when the game was basically out of reach.

GP didn’t want a replay of last years game. They were smart not to schedule St. John’s this year. Playing a weaker opponent always makes you feel like you’re good.

SJ has been focused on getting the Landon twins to transfer. Full court press on that family.

They go to Landon? Why?

Anyone know what happened in the Landon/Spalding scrimmage?

Pretty sure that was a JV scrimmage and everyone knows Spalding is the scrimmage champ.
