| Family friends have a son on the Georgetown Prep lacrosse team. Prior to the league championship Landon players thew rocks at his car and broke its windows. School has done nothing despite a complaint. I don't think that lacrosse rep will change any time soon . . . |

| I am stooping to others level by responding but I am tired of the unfair Landon bashing. Before you start hurling accusations make sure you get the whole story. The night before the game, Prep students came onto Landon's campus to pull a prank (I am being kind here, others might say to vandalize the campus). Some Landon students were still on campus and saw the Prep lacrosse players. Yes one kid threw a rock to get them to leave and it broke a window. Others went looking for the school's security guard. I think your sportsmanship slur should be pointed at Prep. |

Uninvolved with either school but I find it bizarre that you think that writing that sentence exonerates Landon kids in the least bit. Of all the posts I have read, those word may be best single example of Landon's culture of denial. |

Why did one kid need to throw a rock? Landon boys all have the most expensive cells available. Why didn't he call 911 or better yet, his parents? They always bail their boys out.
Poor excuse which further illustrates Landon culture. |

Vandalism of any sort is disgusting. Both groups are wrong but each school should get to the bottom of this and all involved should have consequences. Break the cycle. There are fools at every school but it is a measure of the school when nothing is done.
Headmaster and admins and coaches need to have joint interrogation. That being stated was it lacrosse players or fans? |

| Yes Prep boys should know better. I would guess their administration has gotten involved. I would guess Landon's administration has done nothing. |

| I know nothing about specifics of the incident but it seems to me that prank is in tradition of good natured rivalries. Perhaps it went too far. No idea. Throwing rocks at cars is stupid and seems like it is the kind of thing that would be condoned at Landon where any bad act involving the lacrosse team is ignored. |

| I have heard that the prep kids were driving by landon's campus at 2am yelling "Jews" and egging the school as well as paintballing it.. |

| Not sure that makes sense. Where the prep kids driving by on Bradley? How could Landon kids hear that from the campus a quarter mile away? What were Landon kids doing at school at 2 a.m.? |

That is truly awful. Hopefully the boys have woken up since that night and feel remorse. Hopefully they will write sincere letters of apology and hopefully those apologies will be accepted.
Sincere apologies and acts of forgiveness are both cathartic and healing. |
