Sucks because it isn't fixed for fall 25

Wait for ECNL transit plan. No way they will wait a year doing nothing.

ECNL is worried about their deteriorating boys side.

Makes no sense not to figure in August kids who legitimately stayed back for school development or some other reason. They did not take into account current numbers of how many in August stay back since COVID and were looking historical. This is going to end in another change in 5 years.

Agreed, we need to hear from ECNL now

DPL is under GA.

It doesn’t make sense waiting until 26/27, hopefully ECNL/USCS/USYS/AYSO react soon, starting prearing the switch by Fall 25.

So 9/1 registration in 26/27. What would ECLN do allow all to play up for this year in league and showcases?

I would not be surprised to see ECNL concede boys sides to MLSN.

Doubtful. All of this from ECNL was specifically in order to not lose out on the boys side. ECNL has ignored the girls sides, believing their supremacy there isn’t at risk, and is throwing all their focus toward finding a way to not be third tier on the boys side.

Guessing we’ll hear soon about a transition plan

And as the worry about that, their girls side is being ignored.

They’re idiots of the first order. They’re worried about foreign players in the NCAA while all the schools are in effect making decisions to defund non-revenue sports so they can keep football and men’s basketball afloat.

They don’t have a transition plan unfortunately
