Do we know what percent of people have never had covid?

It seems kind of amazing some people have never had it, some have had it twice...

My family has had it twice, and I’ve never tested positive despite living around it for days. Really weird to me.

That’s because some people are living very cautiously and some people are not.

The last stat I saw was about fifty fifty.

No one in my household has gotten it. We all try to avoid going indoors other than our house but when we do go indoors for work and school we were kn95s or n95s.

Lots of people are smart enough to not be tested. No one else's business what people have. Medical privacy is a thing. Some of us do not go to the doctor, to keep the government out of our business.

We haven't had it and we do not live cautiously at all. I don't think there is any correlation in Aug 2022 between the people who haven't had covid and the n95 groupies.

Not being tested is a differwnt issue.

The question is about people who haven't had covid.

See a doctor and get a prozac script.

And lots of people have lived normal lives and also didn't get covid. What you are doing is pointless.

We've never had it to our knowledge--family of 5 with kids in public schools and parents working in person. We get a PCR test with a fever and often with more minor cold symptoms. We're all fully vaxxed and boosted.

At this point it seems to just be good luck. I've been in all day meetings and at dinner (unmasked) with people who turned up positive the next day. We flew to an AI in Mexico during omicron but always wore masks indoors. We did a week at Disney and wore masks indoors. We attended a family reunion with people flying in and gave lots of hugs. *knocks on wood*

I think its interesting that this stat hasn't been researched/publicized/discussed lately.

NP
It would be impossible to tell. Like pp said, lots of people aren't getting tested. They might suspect they have covid, or maybe they think it's "just allergies" or "just a cold."

I'm not living cautiously, whatever that means in 2022, and I've never gotten covid (that I know of). it's 100% luck.
