Its at a public space and even though there are permits to reserve fields, the people that visit the field are absolutely clueless about it. They see the field open on weekends or off days and assume its always open to the public. Then they don't understannd why a coach or parent has to tell them to get off and think its racial profiling or bullying them into who has right of field. Maybe having an LED lighting system that lights RED when not open to public and GREEN when open. Who knows... |
The club needs to communicate to the community, mark the fields and provide a safe environment for the kids. Many of the other clubs will have club personnel "police" the area and let everyone know that they can't be on the field. It shouldn't have to be a paying parent who is dropping off their child for practice. |
I think they had a Girls Coach, CL who left for a club in Texas to be their TD. If that is who you're referring to, a promotion and the cost of living difference were some factors. |
I think you are right. LMVSC got destroyed last year and the score reported 7-0, but it was really 17-0. |
| My husband is reffing Herndon tonight and I’m scared for his integrity after learning of Herndon parents not being good sportsmanship. Should I advice him to call 911 at halftime to prepare for potential mass confrontations? |
At bready they have big signs they put up, people in the "community" don't care. Expecting them to have the resources to police all the fields every night there is practice is asking a lot. No other club needs to do this. Random people is not their responsibility. Call the non emergency police number give them the day and time ask them to come out see if after a few times if it helps or not. This really is something you as an adult can take action on instead of complaining. |

Is there a point to posting random scores? |
You sound absolutely ridiculous. Have him call 911 (EMERGENCY!) for POTENTIAL mass confrontations?! Any way how did it go for him? |
| The club retaliated against my kid. What can I do about it? I have proof. |
What are you talking about? "The club"? Do you mean the coach? The soccer director? Retaliated how? |
At this point in the season, did they not start him? What age group? Did they leave him off a roster? Did they demote him to a lower team? Was it the coach? What did they do? -Whay did they retaliate against your son? Did he do anything? Did you do anything? |
I think HYS is a dump but to think a club would take the time to "retaliate" against your kid is absurd. Maybe they were sick and tired of dealing with a crazy parent(s) and just cut the kid or put him on another team. You have to understand that you and your precious kid are not the only kids playing for the club. |
Hence the founding of Club Deportivo Sterling. Here to take HYS and Sterling SC piece of the pie until they have none left para comer! |
This is a rec org for disadvantaged kids with maybe 3 or 4 teams total, they play games even for teenagers on terrible elementary school grass fields. No one is worried about competing with them. But good for them for trying to help out their community. |
