Moore vs Cox

I would say We'd Moore has a 99.99998% chance of winning the governorship at this point.
Anonymous
I agree. And the state of Maryland loses in both scenarios.
Anonymous
You’re probably right but Moore was not my idea candidate. Lucky Cox won I guess because I would likely have vote Schultz instead of Moore in that scenario
Anonymous
I hope you’re right. I am deeply worried, though. What was the name of Maryland’s last Black governor? Yeah, exactly.

I’d have voted for R if cox wasn’t trump R

Precisely why the dems helped fund Cox. They knew that Schultz would have won against Moore. The same reason Hogan won against Brown.

+1 I'd have considered it. Signed, Pro-Hogan Dem.

There have been only two Black candidates elected as governor in US history: Douglas Wilder in VA and Deval Patrick in MA.

Wes Moore will win, although he was not the best democratic candidate. So I do think he'll be the first Black governor, but I don't think he'll be great.

My in laws are republican, Trumpers, but voting for Wes Moore. Excited for him to be governor!

Really?

Do you want higher taxes, sunsetting of social security, or women, and minorities to lose all rights? I mean hey you want women barefoot and pregnant not holding jobs because that is where we are going with this.

Clearly, your brain is not working.

There is not one REPUBLICAN FIT FOR OFFICE NOT ONE!

EX REPUBLICAN

The Republican party is hosting this criminal at CPAC
Thanks, MAGA this is what we will be
We [Hungarians] are not a mixed race, and we do not want to become a mixed race either”
This was Viktor Orban at Baile Tusnad just now, tearing into Western Europeans for “mixing with non-Europeans”
To all the Orban fans out there: *this* is what you’re supporting thanks

or how about this little out loud

Republican,
Matt Birk is doubling down on the position he has outlined in speeches to fellow right-wing loons that women shouldn’t work.
This solves their problem. If women can't work, they need men-- and men don't have to worry about being rejected.

Again vote Red this is what will happen. Your call.

It doesn't matter whether we are in MD or Alabama you vote red ladies you are signing your own death warrant.

No, and here is why.

A paper bag filled with air is better than any Republican.

Moore might not be awesome but COX is heinous. And any of the others would have been too.

There is not one Republican worthy of the office, not one.

America is dying right before our eyes because the whole Republican party has become criminal. That big lie and lies about CRT are 100% the reason to never vote RED again. Women's rights? This is not only about "abortion" it is literally about all our rights. If you don't understand that and where they are taking us you are not paying attention.

If we get a Red gov MD dies this time and they will never leave office.

The Republican party hasn't had any values but lying and grifting for years. Who votes for that garbage.

Not me ever ever again. Ex Republican I hope they all rot.

Perez or Franchot would have been better? Moore might not be the best governor in the history of the world, but he also doesn’t need to be.

Shulz v. Moore would have been interesting. Moore v. Cox is going to be a walkover.

Why? If they’re Trumpers, do you know what it is about Moore and/or about Cox that is leading them to vote for Moore?
