Anyone know where they are selling t-shirts, etc.? This is my DDs 1st championship meet and she wants all the swag, but we didn’t see where they were being sold today. Thanks!
Following! Was surprised not to see any swag today.
We heard they would be in the parking lot tomorrow? My kid swims again on Sunday, so hoping we are able to get something other than a bag tag.
Good to know—thx. Saw nothing today at prelims or finals.
Same here! My kid is disappointed there isn’t anything other than a bag tag!
Very surprising there is nothing- especially compared to the invitational meets and others who all have lots of swag. You would assume there would be something given this is a championship meet.
Glad to see this! We were surprised today too. Hope they do sell on other days but stinks for the kids who only made events on Thursday.
Anyone there yet today? Any word?
I didn’t see anything, although didn’t look really closely.
There’s nothing here. WTF. Sad for the kids.
Is it the responsibility of the hosting club? It really does suck for the kids that they don’t have anything for them other than the bag tag. |
pre-covid, I don't recall there being shirts sold at this meet either.
Seems like kind of a big missed opportunity, both from a fundraising perspective and from a elevating the long course season as something special and worth it perspective. I know those JO shirts are highly coveted haha. |
They sold them last summer- my swimmer has one. It is an outside vendor who comes to do it- I am assuming the host tells them when to come but who knows.
When there are some meets were hosts aren’t stepping up, we need to remember that when teams do offer to host. Complaints a few days ago about divisional relays, now this. Yes, kids love the shirts and they should be offered - however no shirts but a team to run the meet is more impt. |
