| Thankful there is a new principal. Think he will be good for the school! |
What stm? |
| What was wrong with the old principal? |
|
St Mary in Alexandria.
Quite a resume. Seems almost over qualified. |
Googled him. He had some trouble at the school in SC. It will be good to have someone with a different perspective at the helm. |
| This new guy faced controversy in SC after he asked the families at his school to “forgive” a child who threatened a mass casualty event and posted videos on social media with many racial slurs and skits involving mass casualties to minority students. |
| I know school hasn’t started yet, but his communication to families is underwhelming at best. I hope he is communicating better to the teachers at least. I am giving him the benefit of a doubt, but am hoping his communications improve. |
The fact that St. Mary's hired him speaks volumes about their persistent insularity. Not surprised by this from school where "Let's Go Brandon" stickers are on a good number of cars at pick up. Unimpressive decision made by an unimpressive school. |
I have never seen a bumper sticker like that at pick up! Yes, there are those families at the school but they are not the majority by any measure, thank goodness. |
Sorry your kid was rejected. Better luck next year. |
Does St Mary's reject anyone? Our school has lost some interesting kids to them over the years. |
By “interesting,” I assume you mean not rich/white. Lovely attitude. |
It’s a fair question. I’ve never heard of anyone being rejected. |
LOL - Parish schools are basic + accept any Catholic kid in the parish. |
+1 live in the neighborhood and the behavior by parents (mainly moms) at pickup is attrocious |
