Not the PP, but what is your problem? Don't try to pretend that when you see people of whatever race, you don't immediately (even if subconsciously) register that they are _____ race. If I see a tall person, I'm observing their height. Likewise, short, thin, overweight, brunette, blonde, Asian, black, white, ambiguous, etc. etc. It's not a judgment, just an observation! You need to lighten up. |
I can't remember what she and Katie were arguing about, I but I seem to recall Katie was throwing out some really nasty things about Gizelle, and Gizelle gave her fair warning that she would bring up the couch incident if Katie didn't back off. Naturally, Katie didn't back off, so I don't really blame Gizelle for using that piece of information. If she had just brought it up apropos of nothing, then I would call it mean - but she was being egged on by Katie (who herself is a first-class mean girl), so I don't really fault Gizelle. |
COMPLETELY agree. Karen is one of the most vulgar women I've ever observed, on TV or otherwise. That whole subject about "pulling out, leaving it in" etc. (directed at Ashley) was disgusting. I would be absolutely mortified if I were her daughter. It's hilarious that Karen considers herself some sort of paragon of grace and good breeding. I wouldn't want my daughter around her! To be fair though, I do think Ashley's pretty gross too with her descriptions of sex w/her husband, etc. I would want to crawl in a hole and die if I were Michael's kids watching this. But at least she's never pretended to be the "refined lady" that Karen claims to be. Re: Ray - if he actually thinks Michael showed up at the beach house to have some sort of fantasy evening with seven women, he's honestly not as bright as I assumed he was. Seriously? I think it's Ray (and Karen, clearly) who are living in their own fantasy world. Even Robyn and Charrisse thought that was ridiculous and didn't mind that Michael showed up. It was no big deal, yet the Hugers seem to think it was akin to assault. Bizarre. |
Karen is just plain stupid. |
Riiiight. The certainty with which that PP proclaimed the kids' race is weird, sorry. I may notice that someone has light skin or dark skin, but I don't know the details of people's heritage and would not assume I was accurate and then say someone who thinks otherwise is "delusional." PP is weird and rude. |
thank you! |
I hate the implication that Katie is using or are on drugs. It's so inflammatory. I think it's irresponsible to say so (especially about someone with kids) unless you really have proof. |
Don't talk about the black Bill Gates that way!!! ![]() |
[b] Giselle did not say she pooped on herself. Giselle said she went on a date and the tea she drank made her poop while she was out on a date. Giselle said that it was not a very pleasant date to have to take a big poop in your date's home. Katie reworded the story and kept saying Giselle pooped on herself. Big difference. Giselle kept warning Katie, but Katie kept pushing, so she deserve to be outed. And you know Giselle was speaking the truth because Ashley and Charisse confirmed it in their own way. So straightening hair is trying to be white. When white people lay in the sun to tan are they trying to be Black, or the very least a dark skinned Hispanic. When white people put fillers in the lips are they trying to have bodacious lips that are natural to many of Black women. Or, is it like everything else, all groups of women are simply using different types of beauty accessories. |
NP, Katie brought her kids into the conversation when she allowed them to be aired on national television. Her kids did not look ambiguous. And who really cares. By the time they age, I hope it becomes a moot issue. In regards to Katie herself, if the show is a true indication of her, she is delusional on multiple levels. |
Katie called another woman a whore on television. She made the leap that because you go on a date with a man, you also must have sex with the man. That sys more about her dating pattern than anything else. Do you think Katie was irresponsible in that accusation? |
I think you mean MUTE! ![]() |
I know right? Such a joke. He needs to tell Karen to shut her big fat piehole. They are not that wealthy. Such an embarrassment. |
As annoying as some are and as stupid as some of the plots, I did like the show. I do hope they all come back. I think they all would want to come back, except maybe Charisse. I think the show may have been a mistake for her. She came across as stuck up, but she probably is just a private person.
I still haven't seen any of them in the village. |
This struck me too - here he is, outraged that Michael would show up (on the very last night, at his own house) to a girls' weekend. He insists that it was completely "improper" and that Michael must have surely wanted to see all the ladies in their "lingerie" (WTF?). But he seemingly has no issue with his own wife speaking like a sailor on national TV, saying the most vulgar and inappropriate things. What kind of role model is this woman for his own daughter?? Really weird. |
