Hm, I did not watch it, but if this is from CNN, means Vance did extremely well.

Lunz hates Trump and has been hard on him all election cycle, so this is pretty damning. It’s also bad for Harris that this is the last debate until the election and everyone is just going to be left with JD Vance dog walking Walz and “I’m friends with school shooters” memes.

Walz is known for misspoking many things, but some of them are really concerning. I don't think the school shooter is as bad as his misrepresentation of his military service.

Walz asks Vance if he thinks Trump lost the 202o election. Vance slaps back with “censorship” is the enemy of democracy. Face plant

This oart to me was the weirdest thing Vance did, and I think really telling about his personality. He was describing what was clearly a really, really terrible time in his friend's life. (Query whether she would agree they are friends, but that's another question.) He is using that awful period in her life to score points for himself. (Because he's basically a user/self-promoter.) And, even worse, his whole point, that he thinks is such a wonderful point, is that he and Republicans just need to EXPLAIN better to women like her why they really don't need abortions. He is so arrogant -- he thinks he just needs to mansplain to women, and then of course they will agree with him. He totally doesn't get that this young woman was trying to educate him, and increase his understanding'empathy -- his take-away was that she needed to listen more to HIM.

That is your take on abortion. Not everyone thinks that woman having abortion is a terrible thing. For many woman it is liberating. He did not say his friend NEED to listen to him, he said she is watching the debate now.

Walz's anxiety should be controlled better.

Exactly. Walz has experience working on real problems as a governor and in the House. Vance is just a bullshitter.

He said he was friends with school shooters.

They have nothing of substance to criticize Walz about, so all they can complain about is that he missed a word in a sentence

No one cares about shooter's friend, but Walz confusing Israel with Iran at the beginning raised a lot of eybrows.

Walz called himself “a knucklehead” at times during the debate?

Wanz said "restoration of Roe v. Wade", that is all that we need to know.

Kamala Harris says insomnia hit after Biden dropped out, she was sleep-deprived the day of Walz pick

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris revealed Monday that she suffered from insomnia after President Biden endorsed her as his successor — and that she was sleep-deprived the morning she picked her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Harris, 59, told “All The Smoke” hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson that she made her “gut” decision to select Walz after being unable to sleep much the night before, waking up early that Tuesday in Washington and using cooking to calm her mind.

“From the time that the president called me and told me he wasn’t running, I mean, it’s just like everything was in speedy, speedy motion, and I was not sleeping so well,” Harris told the basketball stars, who both played for the Harris-supported Golden State Warriors.

“And that one morning I just, I mean, I had, I don’t know, a few hours’ sleep — and I, you know, I like to sleep. I just got up,” she said. “I was like — so I just went out and got a pork roast and started marinating it.”

Walz’s demeanor is troubling. How has he been a teacher, a Soldier, a leader, if he is so nervous and wildly anxious?

He called himself a “knucklehead,” and made the horrific gaffe of stating he is friends with school shooters.

What an abysmal performance by Walz.

"Wah you promised no fact-checking!"

He didn't "wag". He asserted his right to rebut the moderator after she started to debate with him.

Then she thanked him for correcting her misleading description of the law.

Walz also complained about the moderators fact checking him.

The moderators fact-check JD Vance — twice

CBS News said last week that moderators would not point out or correct inaccurate statements made by JD Vance or Tim Walz.

This. Why does Vance even want this job? For himself and his rich friends. The constituents seem to just be a necessary annoyance along the way. And no one believes that Vance has really changed his opinion of trump at all. He says what he thinks he needs to say. Vance is a very unlikeable and untrustworthy candidate.

Trump/vance in a landslide.

Harris/Walz are too mental midget for the World on fire and economic ditch.

Walz, the governor of Minnesota, seemed to get off on the wrong foot right from the start when he mixed up Iran and Israel when asked about how he would advise the president on a preemptive strike by Israel against Iran.

“Iran, or I, uh, Israel’s ability to be able to defend itself is fundamental,” he said initially. Moments later he said “the expansion of Israel and its proxies” is a fundamental necessity for the United States to steady leadership there.

Other times, Walz seemed nervous and unsure of himself. He spoke so rapidly at times that he stumbled over his words.

USA Today is correct; Walz looked and sounded extremely nervous and made verbal stumbles throughout the night.

Vance was calm, cool, and collected. He never responded in anger or frustration, or took the bait and made the debate contentious. He gave a master class in political debate.

Every politician has rich friends, takes money from their rich friends.

Case in point:

Walz looked like the weirdo…apparently the whole “Vance is weird” thing was a deflection and projection on the part of democrats, who
have an old looking man who lies about everything running as their VP.

Anyone fact check Walz’s claim that his son witnessed a shooting? Any evidence that actually happened?

He obviously didn’t confuse the two. He was nervous and mixed up the names.
