Yes, I tip. It’s historically typical to tip cab drivers, hence I’ll tip Lyft/Uber drivers. That’s different than people who work at Target.

Even if I were a cheapskate, I would tip for Uber/Lyft. They could they ding my rating if I do not? Plus, they know where I live.

Yes. I know they actually work only for tips - Uber and gas take the actual fare.

They rate you after you tip.

Always! I pick the middle option but go higher if there was any inconvenience to them or if they were particularly nice or we had something in common.
