Apparently today a Middle School parent tried to take matters into their own hands when they feared there was an active shooter at their students school. When the door was locked, the parent attempted to break into the school. Allegedly at this point…
There was a robbery at a 7-11 nearby so the school was on lockdown. It’s a sad state of affairs when we’re all living in a state of panic like this. https://www.arlnow.com/2022/06/10/breaking-parent-worried-about-active-shooter-may-have-brought-gun-to-middle-school/ |
It was a good guy with a gun, right?
Imagine if there was an active shooter and police arrived and saw this parent. Please prosecute this person to the fullest extent of the law. |
You can't trust the police to do anything anymore, good for the parent |
This. |
Good god. What a moron. |
Good for panicked people operating on bad information to try to kick a school door down with gun in hand? I’m going to have to disagree with you there. |
The parent is probably very upset after Ulvade. I don't blame the parent for rushing over to take matters into his own hands. I do think the parent - and many, many others - shouldn't be running around with guns in general. But the root issue here is gun violence. Guns beget guns. We need common sense gun control. |
I am so sick of heavily armed legends in their own mind running around. |
And some wonder why your local yokel Joe shouldn't have a gun. |
That parent is lucky not to have been shot by the police for attempting to break into the school. |
Yes. I can’t stop thinking about how this could’ve gone even more terribly wrong. |
TJ for all y'all curious but don't want to click the link. |
You can probably trust the police to shoot someone who is randomly brandishing a gun and acting crazy at a middle school when a robbery was just committed nearby, they'll ask questions later, like "Was that a good guy with a gun or a bad guy with a gun?" |
Agreed on all points. |
This is someone who deserves to be in jail for a very long time, and certainly to lose custody of his children.
