Would like to drop 10 in a month

I am a healthy weight and think I generally look pretty good. I lost almost 20 lbs and for vanity would like to lose 10 more (my high school weight). Tell me how you successfully lost the last 10 lbs. My BMI right now is 23.

Lose 2.5lbs a week for 4 weeks straight when already at a healthy weight? Yeah, no. That’s not happening.

Yeah, maybe in 3 months. And I say this also as someone who recently lost 20-30 pounds, has a BMI of 23, and is about 10 pounds from my high school weight. So I'm right there with you. Will let you know how it goes. I plan to get there through the same things that lost me the most recent 20 pounds, but that was slow too, and it's only going to get slower as I approach my goal.

I'm the same, and have decided to slim down for the summer. Since I'm in 40s and have thyroid issues, it's gotten much harder to do than in my 20s or 30s.

So right now I have tea, colorful fruits and green veggies for breakfast and lunch (no starchy carbs, no added sugar, no fats except in the milk I add to my tea), and then a regular dinner with the family. No snacks in between, which is hard, and no snacks after dinner, which is even harder, because that's what I like to do.

This is doable for me except during the week before my period, when it's well nigh impossible, and my greatest moment of struggle. If anyone has any tips about surmounting PMS-related snacking, I'm all ears.

If I can get past the monthly PMS week, I expect to lose 10 lbs by mid-June.

Outside of literally not eating which I don't recommend, the fastest way will be to go keto - high fat, no carbs except for non-starchy veggies, protein, water and coffee only.

example: eggs, avocado, cheese, salmon, chicken.

If you stick to it, you'll drop 10lbs or close to it. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/ketogenic-diet-foods

I’m confused. Did you gain 10 pounds in a month? If not, how could you expect to lose that amount in a month?

This is your answer right here. Don't try to lose more weight. Be happy!

Pointing out that it’s unusual to gain 10 lbs in a month. The expectation that one could lose that same amount in a month is preposterous.

If were were very over weigh I would say it's possible but you are already a healthy weight so losing 10 lbs quickly will be a challenge. It will require strict adherence and a substantial deficit.
