Youngkin supports overturning Roe v Wade

Great timing after he attended an anti-abortion rally last week.

Asked if he would pursue a legislative agenda next year featuring a ban on abortions after 15 weeks or 20 weeks, Youngkin demurred. “I can’t speculate on anything until this, in fact, becomes final,” he said.

Youngkin said his position should be no surprise. “I think I’ve been clear — I’m pro-life, and I’ve made that very clear from the moment I announced my candidacy,” he said. Youngkin marched last week in an antiabortion rally in Richmond

“When I’m governor and I have a majority in the House we can start going on offense. But as a campaign topic, sadly, that in fact won’t win my independent votes that I have to get,” Youngkin said in the video.

Democrats hold a 21-to-19 majority in the Senate and have vowed to protect access to abortions, though Sen. Joe Morrissey (D-Richmond) has suggested that he is open to further restrictions.

Sad to say it, but we told you so.

Is anyone surprised?

Voting has consequences.

Not even remotely surprised. Youngkin is a dangerous embarrassment.

Schools were already open before Youngkin was elected.

Tell that to all the VA parents yapping about 'they closed schools and someone has to pay! The Democrats need to be punished'. Their vote was retaliatory.

“We” don’t have to own it.

Everyone with half a brain voted against this anti-choice MAGA turd.

There are DCUM posters who insisted he wouldn’t touch abortion.

Somehow that made it ok to vote against manufactured issues like “CRT” and “banning advanced math”.

Thanks Virginians. Good luck to your daughters and granddaughters. Back alley coat hangers, under his eye.
