How many celebs have you met or seen?

Anonymous
I will start.
Met Paul Reiser said hi and he talked to me five minutes
Met Snoop Dog also nice we chatted briefly
Met Evander Holyfield, Joe Montana, chatted. Evander was heavyweight champ and he introduced himself up me. He was waiting for Sugar Ray Leonard.

I saw Brad Pitt, Paul Newman, Tara Banks, Christie Brinkley, Bill Murray, Bill Cosby, Lee Majors, John Travolta, etc out and about. Did not talk.

Weirdly I met Joey Buttofucco at a party right before Amy Fischer thing. Also when I was 18 met Bruce Willis right before Moonlightening. He was a bartender

Old school I met Robert Stack and Dina Merril at a party. Doubt anyone remembers them. But big big stars in the day and were married.

How about you guys?

I ran into Jon Stewart at Veselka’s in NYC. Didn’t talk to him, but he walked right past me. I also saw him walking down 5th Ave around 12th street.

I flew on a plane with Tim Gunn. He’s just as gracious and classy as he appears on TV.

My husband has better stories. When he lived in LA, Dave Grohl bought him a drink at a show because Dave liked my husband’s hair (it was down to his shoulders then). He also ran into Leonardo DiCaprio at a club, and ended up partying with him for the rest of the night.

Oh — I ran into Joe Biden while at the White House. I saw him walking between the White House and OEOB. He said a nice hello and kept going.

I’ve spoken to maybe 3 or 4- Alan Thicke, Joel Gray, Gavin DeGraw…I could be forgetting someone.

I’ve seen maybe 10 others in airports and while visiting New York City. Paul Rudd in LAX, Joan Cusack in Dublin airport, Dakota Fanning, a basketball player whose name I can’t remember, a few Broadway stars leaving their shows.

When I was a kid I lived in Connecticut and Christopher Walkin lived in the town over and would drive his pink Cadillac to the local hole in the wall breakfast joint and buy donuts.
I also saw Geraldo Rivera very early in the morning at the Bronx Zoo with his grandkids.
I've met a few celebrities though business dealings too and they were generally nice.

Joe Biden is not a "celebrity" he is the US president. This is exactly why the world is going to hell.

Quite a lot, but I grew up in DC and California, and now live in NYC.

Bill & Hillary Clinton (I attended the second inauguration and also was a dance classmate of Chelsea’s but I’m a couple years younger)
Madeleine Albright was a close family friend
When I was about 7 my dad spotted Roy Rogers & Dale Evans at breakfast at a hotel and had me go up to them. I didn’t really know who they were but my dad was starstruck for sure
Steven Segal and his ex Kelly Labrock (sp?) were parents at my school. Their kids were complete brats but I don’t really blame them
Rob Lowe
Jeff Bridges - I was a classmate and friend of his daughters, he’s as nice and cool as you’d expect, it was pretty awesome to have The Dude hanging around in high school
Knew Katy Perry in high school when she was a good little Christian girl
Had lunch with Oprah who was as kind and gracious as one would hope.
There are a lot of celeb parents at my kids’ school now. They’re mostly very nice and pretty chill, a few are more standoffish and seem like they aren’t interested in socializing with other parents but that’s ok

None really. My kid was on a sports team with the sibling of a recent Olympic medalist, my parents’ childhood friend’s daughter is a porn star with millions of Instagram followers, and they’re friends with a woman who was on a soap opera for a decade.

A famous or celebrated person.

Celebrity is a condition of fame and broad public recognition of a person or group as a result of the attention given to them by mass media. An individual may attain a celebrity status from having great wealth, their participation in sports or the entertainment industry, their position as a political figure, or even from their connection to another celebrity. 'Celebrity' usually implies a favorable public image, as opposed to the neutrals 'famous' or 'notable', or the negatives 'infamous' and 'notorious'.[1][2]
