Tell me about your work crush

Anonymous
and what you like about them?

Mine is late 40s, fit (CrossFit), very good people skills. Very professional, kind and approachable, has a way of making everyone at all levels of our group feel included and respected. I’ve never seen him angry, he is always calm and diplomatic (but occasionally makes a very playful joke to show he doesn’t take himself too seriously). He used to do a lot of international work travel before COVID and always found ways to incorporate time for fun - mountain biking, snowboarding, etc. Loves the outdoors. Recently learned he also teaches life drawing in his spare time. Hot.

What’s your work crush like?

My husband. We both work full time from home.

She works for me, about 11 years younger. Perpetually single. Super smart and responsive, very charming, sharp dresser. Balances professionalism and appropriate flirtation.

She works for you but necessarily "under" you I guess...

Tall, good-looking, a good decision maker. I'm married to him and we work for the same large organization. Getting to see his work personality while we were teleworking just made me crush harder.

The "appropriate flirtation" is a survival skill.

If you're the team or organizational leader, she doesn't "work for you." You manage the work of the team. Leadership is a service.

Smh.

Aw, that's sweet. I agree, seeing DH "at work" from home was definitely a turn on. We don't work at the same place so I never get to see it otherwise.

About 10 years younger, super smart; wears tight (but appropriate) suits, sometimes with a tank top underneath that gives just a bare hint of cleavage. Smooth, olive skin and killer smile.

I'm 52. I've lived plenty. And we have nooners during the workday!

We exercise together, grab coffee, bang it out and enjoy the day. No stress.

Sorry you don't find your own husband entertaining or attractive.

Currently don't have one
Last one was tall, good looking, smart, nice voice, and a bit nerdy
He was also cheating on his wife which killed my crush

He’s 50, tall, good looking and fit. He’s a great people leader and seems to be adept balancing the interpersonal stuff with his objectives - his employees rave about him. He’s also very well-endowed. I know this because I actually have a bit more than a crush on him. We’re married and we have periodic nooners between meetings.

I did have to report him to HR (our dog) last week when he ate the leftovers thereby creating a hostile work environment.
