I think HH wears a lot of black, which looks good.

But her makeup ages her. It is way too heavy. I guess it is what Papa Trump likes, though.

Agree, she's a very pretty girl, but the makeup is TOO MUCH

I saw her out shopping right after she left the White House, wearing weekend clothes with her hair in a bun. She still looked pretty good.

I will say the rest of her appearance is totally appropriate for the message. Of course you're going to have a lot of eye make-up on if you're taking a picture of yourself in a mask (and you're Melania), but it's not crazy dark. And her hair and blouse look nice.

The look is more for the video, where she doesn't even don the mask. IRL women are not wearing excessive makeup with their face masks, so I don't see why that's an excuse. Some might even wear less given the extra attention:

I’m not going to lie, I do the top half of my face with makeup for work which includes eye makeup. I’m an essential employee in the court system so I still have to wear dress clothes despite the mask.
