No—what bothers me is that APS bends to the will of select parents. APS was going to open hybrid until the Smart Restart group started. Two weeks later APS changed directions.

WTH are you talking about? SR started in late winter. I want to say I joined the group's FB page in January. APE was going strong all last fall, and still wasn't able to do anything.

The class status of nurses is irrelevant because she QUIT HER JOB. If lower-income families wanted to stay virtual, they should have had a virtual option (which they did). Who is dissecting the last year? SJH was being a callous jerk just yesterday. That's the point. And the former nurse is still writing those COBRA checks. That's not ancient history, and the fact that some people want to treat it that way says a whole lot about the positions they took.

Oh, just stop with the repeated COBRA jabs. If she’s truly unemployed, and doesn’t have a husband making good money, she is choosing to elect COBRA instead of finding out what free low income coverage is available for her kids and/or a heavily subsidized ACA plan (open enrollment right now with increased subsidies, thanks to Biden). If she chooses not to do that and continue to pay $2K for COBRA, that’s her CHOICE.
