This would not surprise me if it is true. The Bridge teams are fun and do well but they seem to be take away talent from theAcademy. The Academy has always treated the Bridge teams like bad step children.

How so? And don’t trot out the field space/location trope because that has been debunked many times. Bridge players can try out for the academy but most don’t. Is it because Bridge costs about one third or less? If so, how so?

Did your DC try out and not get invited to play? Are you a coach with a backstory?

Last ditch effort to keep their jobs in hopes the bridge teams can bring enough talent to make the poor current ECNL under performing team improve. BW has put the wrong people in place as coaches and hasn't developed or changed the teams make up this is the last straw sir.

Fees at the U10 level are lower for the next year, low barrier of entry for young players looking for a travel option. Bridge fees still a fraction of Academy at. U11 and above.

Maybe Move Bernie to the Boys academy director. He might be able to jumpstart the development that Asa hunt had any luck in doing.

Why would they do that? Have you seen how bad the U9-U12 girls program has become?
