NHSLS and High School

SJC is good. They are not great.
It is nice to see another competitive team, but Prep, Gonzaga, Bullis, and Landon have a long history of winning..not a couple of good seasons like SJ.

SJC may be better than Prep and Bullis.

If there even is a season this Spring, SJC will not be as strong as they were in 2020. They lost some very players due to graduation.

I think in the Spring of 2022, SJC could be the team to beat in the DC area.

2021 will be Bullis and then everyone else.

SJC May be the the best social media hype team but that’s it. Seen them play all fall and get beat by lesser teams. They have 3 ball hogs on the team. All have big egos because their IL stars ranking. All BS.

SJ.
Overrated, and a bad staff. Unethical, and just bad coaches.

Bad staff?

They beat Landon last year and dominated GP... given the season was only games but the Cadets were off to a very strong start.

It's not how you start, it's how you finish!!

How are SJC unethical and a bad staff? I heard this in baseball but I have not heard that in lacrosse. Please elaborate.

After losing to Landon for a long time, Prep went from little brother to a decade in the sun, but they have since dropped off. I think they have finished the season ranked #1 in the country twice. I suspect the Mater Dei pipeline to Prep getting a few new valves to Gonzaga and St. John's has hurt Prep.

Gonzaga has been good for the last decade, they were competitive starting in the early 2000's and now they are the Gorilla in the room. While area bragging rights used to go through 6101 Wilson Lane and Somewhere on Rockville Pike, they now definitely go through Eye St. I think they have finished ranked #1 in the country once.

Bullis has really Trumped the DC Lacrosse Universe with alternative facts. They have been much better in the last five to seven years, but I think they have two, count 'em, Two IAC Championships. Maybe they have Three, Count 'em, Three IAC Championships. What has their record been against 'Zaga? in the last ten years. I wouldn't say The Bulldogs have a long History of Winning; I might call it a recent streak of winning. Bullis has never finished ranked #1 in the country. They did win the Geico Tournament a couple of years ago, but they also lost between four and six games that season, and one of those losses was to Gonzaga and maybe to McD and another Balto school. Tough to claim a Natty Title when you aren't even the best team in your area or state.

StJCH has also been very competitive. Again, how many WCAC Championships? How many National Championships?

SJC isn’t good!
Stop talking about them! They’ve had 10 coaches in the last five years.
What sort of school hires Cabell Maddux and Trig!?

Its funny how bitter Prep/Gonzaga/Bullis people get when SJC improves at lacrosse.

I don’t think anyone at Bullis is concerned with the rise of SJC.

No one is concerned about a program who has had two good seasons in the last fifteen years

Calvert Hall............enough said.

Calvert Hall.

In the last five years between the IAC and WCAC, there is probably one team between the two conferences that would place in the top three in the MIAA.
This year’s Bullis team is excellent and could win the MIAA.
I expect CH, Spaulding and McDonogh to be at the top of the MIAA.
