The protests are not about what "real city people" think. They are about something fundamental to American society and American rule of law. "Real city people" are as superficial as hell if they think their own disaffected response is the point of it all. This is not fashion week or a Santa Claus convention. That author is an idiot. I doubt he'll be a welcome addition to the suburbs, either. And his move out of the city won't make the protests stop, either -- only real change will do that. Fool.
