You think a guy that doesn't maintain his hair cares what his yard looks like?

I don’t like Bernie but you a) have no idea what you’re talking about and b) don’t understand the concept of a pied-à-terre.

Oh please. The peoples' champion lives in elitist DC with property values that mutiples more expensive than your typical middle class home when he could easily live a train ride away in PG county, which is much more diverse, working class, and more in line with the middle class. Bernie is a rich elitist who loves his safe white enclaves.

If you think that you have some sort of slam dunk on his hypocrisy based on this you just don’t understand his message.

Bernie is not even my first choice but even I can get this.

Bernie does not want to punish people for having three houses. He wants you to pay your fair share of taxes if you have three houses.

This is not that hard, but apparently it is to you.

People who 1031 their gains on property and use them to acquire even more wealth tax free.

I do find him a bit disingenuous. First he screamed about all the rich millionaires not paying their taxes. Then, oops, wait - I am now a millionaire, let’s change the message. Now he rants about all of the Billionaires not paying their taxes. I truly believe he is in this for his ego and his ego alone. I am a Dem and obviously he is not my favorite.

That’s legal, why not change the tax code?

Wow, look at the possessions of this guy who's trying to raise taxes on himself. How dare this college-educated guy who was lucky to enjoy a much better boomer economy not give all his wealth away like a Buddhist monk? What a terrible person.

He only became a millionaire AFTER he ran for president, non thread/news article reader.

It's hilarious to see the beltway elite so terrified of Sanders. They're really pulling out all the stops, but we know Sanders is genuine about fighting for people outside the umc and above.

Good idea. I hope President Sanders does that!

Having 3 homes should be reassuring to all the Bernie skeptics. He's is not against wealth.

Just so you know, you could put a picture of a castle up and it wouldn’t change my opinion. Matter of fact, it might cement my position. I don’t care about his house(s) any more than Sanders houses or Trump’s houses. I care about how they will administer government.

Also, most Dem voters have a preference but the priority is still blue. So stop with trying to pit Dems against each other. It makes you look... Russian.
