Then move out of DC. Bitching about it on an anonymous forum that no one visits isn’t going to change anything. |
Wow! I guess that makes you great
|
Yep
|
What difference does it make if PP smokes yet is successful?
|
It's a direct response to the PP who said smoking pot makes people stupid and "I like being the smartest person in the room." Also a response to all the posters who clearly think anyone who smokes pot is a loser. |
Problem is, from the rest of her behavior here, nobody believes this is true. |
Can't help you if you: - Don't believe facts. - Call me out for being snarky, when you're being a sanctimonious asshole. |
| It makes me really queasy. I hate the smell of pot! |
I’m OP that you’re responding to. I’ve tried not to be sanctimonious—I’ve admitted I occasionally smoke pot (at home) and drink wine. But I’ve watched your babyish behavior here, and snark is too sophisticated word for your insults. |
| I smell pot, and I smile. For real. |
I'm not responding to you -- I'm responding to the person who made the absolutely juvenile allegation that pot smokers are dumb and he/she likes "being the smartest person in the room." I decided to respond to snark and pettiness with snark and pettiness. I'm enjoying watching all of these posters get their panties in a bunch for being served their own medicine. |
Now that's a phrase I haven't heard in a while. Who you calling 'grandpa'? |
I can't borrow phrases from the old people? |
I still live in NY. In city monthly. Judging from my pool of people (some who smoke weed), I'm missed if I go away for a week. |
I get what the PP meant. I have a coworker who is a big pot smoker. Just like how cigarette smokers stink of cig smoke on their clothes and hair, weed smokers smell the same. This coworker always stinks of pot. We had to office share for a bit when we had coworkers in from overseas who used his section of offices for their stay. Even though he wasn't smoking at work or even vaping outside, he always smelled of weed. I used to get made fun of as a kid because my parents smoked inside and my clothes always smelled like cigs. When I was in high school I even got called into the counselor's office a few times because teachers reported that I was smoking because I smelled like it when they were near me. Always very embarrassing to explain to them and it took happening twice before I used my own money to buy some rubbermaid totes to keep my clothes in instead of hung in my closet or in my dresser. |
