I’m tired of smelling your pot everywhere

Interest. I've never smelled anyone's perfume or scented bath products while in my car driving on the highway or walking my dogs in the morning. The smell is everywhere, including private spaces like our own homes and cars.

Futile to try rationality on a drug addict.

Omg - I am so tired of smelling it! I am ready to vote against legalization. It has really downgraded the quality of life for me. I went for a walk at 3pm and the smell was so strong. I like to sit outside at night and every night at 9pm, the smell is strong. Honestly, I think almost any activity that creates a very large smell should have some limitations. Perhaps only make edibles legal. Or ban smoking weed outside.

You’re the idiot that can’t read the part about “car exhaust” which is obviously something that people are frequently exposed to while driving. So please explain the rationality of being ok with car exhaust but not cannabis smell. Please enlighten me.

Most of my friends smoke weed. Fine by me. I get annoyed when I’m driving and now *my* car smells like weed at 7 am because someone else is smoking near by.

Because most weed smokers don't have a catalytic converter strapped to their mouth.

I smell car exhaust literally ever single day and yet I have never seen a single DCUM rant about it. That’s how I know this is not a rational health concern for any of you people. That’s why I agreed to limit my cannabis smoke if you agree to not make me smell anything that other people create. Why is that not fair?

Even my teenagers are complaining about it now. I wanted to take the stairs at a parking garage and they said no -/ the staircases always smell like weed, and it’s gross. I was thinking how it was so nice when people stopped smoking cigarettes and there was a brief period when you could go places and not be overwhelmed with the smell of smoking.

And for PP—I don’t wear perfume or drive a gasoline car but I still don’t think it’s the same. I think you’ve lost perspective of the fact that it smells like farts.

My five year old can identify the smell of weed because it’s so prevalent. I did not know what pot was let alone smelled like when I was five. It’s gross, it’s everywhere and I’m sick of it. Take an edible or smoke in private but enough with smoking everywhere!!!

While I don’t enjoy either, it’s no worse than cigarette smoke. It’s just a trendy thing to bit??h about.

Pot is the smell of trailer trash. And the idiots who never grew up but call themselves "professionals."

What's your rationale here? You see someone else littering, so you want to litter too? You might want to get that ODD checked out.

Legalization was a huge failed experiment. I used to agree with it on basically every argument. I now think it poses a massive public health risk, is addictive, and I don’t care if traffickers and users go to jail for a “small amount”. Oh, and it smells bad too.

I think the smell travels much, much further than cigarette smoke. And lingers much longer.

Agree.

I don't have a problem with people smoking recreationally, but smoking daily or even weekly (or before work, or while driving) is NOT "recreationally." These people have addiction issues and are driving impaired.
